THE COMMUNITY GATEKEEPR TRAINING

In strategic collaboration with the British Asian Trust, the Mir Khalil ur Rahman (MKR) Foundation (Jang Group), SehatYab Pakistan, and the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), we conducted a targeted gatekeeper training sessions, we focused heavily on delivering critical psychoeducation, identifying suicidal behavior warning signs, and teaching basic Psychological First Aid. This extensive, on-the-ground intervention allowed us to directly equip youth, students, and community members with life-saving psychological intervention skills. Ultimately, we mobilized a localized human infrastructure capable of acting as immediate first responders, creating a sustainable mental health safety net within their respective campuses and communities.
